In Our Communities

How Communities View Us

Since the Resolution Project’s inception, our company has conducted periodic baseline community assessments, opinion polls and surveys. The purpose of this research, undertaken by a recognized expert from Arizona State University, is to identify key social, environmental and economic factors affecting Resolution Copper stakeholders – those individuals and organizations who have an interest in and potential impact on our business. Participants have included community leaders, local residents, individuals from government agencies and nongovernment organizations, political leaders and our employees. The data also helps our company assess issues of importance to Arizonans statewide.

We have used the various findings as a blueprint for developing and delivering our community relations policies and programs. We also use this baseline research to help evaluate, monitor and measure the ongoing success of our community relations outreach and interaction.
