Resolution Copper Mining | A member of the Rio Tinto Group
Our Approach

Safety First

If not managed correctly, mining is inherently dangerous. That's why at Resolution Copper we place safety first, last and always. Safety is a top priority and we insist that our employees and contractors embrace a working culture that helps prevent the dangers often associated with our industry.

Our goal is zero work-related injuries or illnesses, and we have specific targets that move us toward that goal.

For example, all Resolution Copper employees attend Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) training. All employees and contractors who work on-site at Resolution Copper receive comprehensive safety training, which includes instruction regarding site hazards and safety precautions. We've also established two mine rescue teams.

Safety Performance Highlights:

Resolution Copper contractor Dalmolin Excavating Incorporated has reached 200,000 hours without an injury resulting in lost time on the job.

Our dedication to safety is outlined in Resolution Copper's Health, Safety and Environmental policy.
