Hiring Locally

During 2007, we exceeded our annual local hire goal of 40 to 50 percent, including employees and contractors. 87.5 percent of Level 1 contractors this year were hired through Superior-based Copper Triangle Mining. The total local rate for 2007, including RCM employees and contractors, was 54.3 percent, which exceeded our goal of 40 to 50 percent. Our total workforce at the end of 2007 numbered 340, including 66 Resolution Copper Mining employees and 274 contractors.
