Resolution Project Profile | Chapter Contents

Resolution Project Development Steps

Mine exploration and development is a multi-year process. Currently, the Resolution Project is in the pre-feasibility or evaluation phase. Assuming pre-feasibility studies yield positive results, we will move to the feasibility stage, when we will determine the best approach to mine development and finalize cost estimates needed to make the mine a reality.

Pre-feasibility Study Update

During 2007 we achieved significant progress in the pre-feasibility study work program, especially in the geology, mining and geotechnical areas.

During 2007 we:

• advanced our understanding of the ore body with ongoing drilling and resource evaluations
• further developed mining options based on increased ore body knowledge
• progressed with initial development of mine design and associated cost estimating
• continued metallurgical testing of drill samples in order to ensure the ore can be processed efficiently
• began design of a process plant
