2007 Sustainable Development Report

Stakeholder Assurance Review

Our 2006 Sustainable Development (SD) Report invited readers to submit their opinions and comments via an online survey form, which we had established and tested. Unfortunately, late in the year we found that the website address shown in the report was not properly linked to the submission form. Consequently, we were unable to receive and assess reader input.

We apologize to Resolution Copper stakeholders for this error, and have taken steps this year to gain advance feedback and input on report content. Resolution Copper’s 2007 Sustainable Development Report was provided in advance of publication to a group of stakeholders representing the community as well as environmental and academic groups. As thanks for their participation, reviewers were invited to select one donation recipient from a list of eight charities. Resolution Copper then made a $500 donation to that organization, in the reviewer’s name.

Those who reviewed our report were asked to comment candidly on the quality and range of content. Their quotes are scattered throughout the pages of this report, and their suggestions contributed to the final version of report content.

We invite you to join these stakeholders in assessing and commenting on what you have read. Please take a moment to complete our online survey. Your feedback will help ensure that we provide you with the appropriate range and depth of information in future sustainable development reporting.
